Glada Paraden (Happy Parade) is a tribute to popular Swedish film personality Edvard Persson. On the occasion of Persson's first talking-picture appearance, Europa Films assembled this collection of clips from his most famous friends. Moviegoers with long memories were gratified that such old favorites as Fridolf Rhusin and Weyler Hildebrand were amply represented in this compilation. Most of all, viewers were enthralled by Persson's singing voice, introducing one hit tune after another. In a sense, Glada Paraden is also a celebration of the Europa Company, for many years Sweden's most prolific film firm.
