innhold
Stellar turns by Geoffrey Rush, Kate Winslet, Michael Caine and Joaquin Phoenix spark this atmospheric biopic. Oscar nominee Rush plays the imprisoned Marquis de Sade, whose erotic manuscripts are smuggled to a publisher by an insane-asylum laundress (Winslet). Phoenix plays a sympathetic priest, while Caine is the doctor sent to "cure" the notorious writer. Billie Whitelaw.
