Merlin is being encouraged by his mother to find his own way in the world. As a young magician, he ventures to Las Vegas to try his luck. He meets Luther, an older performer who used to headline The Chocolate Chips, an all-Black male stripper group. Merlin ends up joining the group's revival. He also accompanies Luther in finding and convincing former members to join for a good cause to help the financially-strapped hotel where they became popular.
