As a tribute to their recently deceased editor-in-chief, the staff of the France-based American magazine The French Dispatch decided to publish a final edition. They thought of re-publishing some of the best stories in the magazine's decade-long existence including a sensational kidnapping case, and the tale about a city's famous artist who was incarcerated for double homicide.
