A Charlie Chaplin impersonator flees the world war and arrives in an American southwestern state run by an omnipotent dictator. It is a terrifying dystopia where political propaganda rules, infrastructures are broken and society is depraved beyond recognition. No one can be trusted in this absurd and sinister place which seems more like a nightmare than any fathomable reality.
