Gay couple Sven (Torkel Petersson) and Göran move to a small village to raise an adopted child, but due to a mistake on their paperwork they are assigned to take care of a homophobic 15-year-old orphan named Patrik in this highly emotional drama. Though Göran does his best to be accommodating, Sven's troubled past makes it difficult for him to accept the boy.
