The apple doesn't fall far from the tree for teenage Maya Dolittle (Kyla Pratt), who's sent to a dude ranch for the summer and learns that she has inherited her father's gift of communicating with the animals. She uses her talent to help her stable of furry friends kick up a fight to keep the ranch from closing. John Amos fills in for Eddie Murphy as the quirky Dr. Dolittle in the third film of the series.
