In this dazzling animated comedy, a flea turns into an overgrown beast in 1910 Paris after a freak accident and it befriends a pretty cabaret singer named Lucille (voice of Vanessa Paradis), who encourages the monster to unleash its musical talents, while movie-theater projectionist Emile and eccentric inventor Raoul race to save the beast from a cruel government official, who wants to destroy it for political gain.
