In this moving comedy-drama, struggling small-time lawyer Mike (Paul Giamatti) makes an unethical decision to make some extra money from an elderly client, which unexpectedly results in Mike taking care of the old man's troubled grandson. The boy soon becomes the best member of the high-school wresting team he coaches, but Mike's improper actions could become public when the boy's mother returns looking to take custody of her son and her father.
